US Patent No. 11,590,070 B2 (Vincent Cocandeau, Anne Rossignol-Castera, Noémie Lemoine); Chanel Parfums Beaute, Neuily sur Seine, France, has been awarded a US patent for  a Camellia extract obtained by extracting by ultrasound a powder of Camellia japonica flowers. The hydroalcoholic extract of Camellia japonica flowers is mainly comprised of a mixture of sugars, camellioside A, and camellioside B.
